Service Description

The Medication 24hr Med Aid course certification is for non-healthcare professionals working in hospitals or Nursing Home facilities who need to pass medications to clients working under the direction of a Registered Nurse. This course does not include the Infection Control Certification. The Infection control study portion part I will be done online for those who are interested in learning how to draw up insulin and give insulin in a healthcare environment. However, infection control written test will be done in class along with skills check) Student will not be able to pass medications at a facility until after passing the state test. This course is taught on or off site. Only staff with current Certified Nurses Aid license. This is an approved course by NCBON/DHHS ( 3 eight hour day sessions) Classes must be booked 3 weeks in advance and down payment required. Books may be purchased for class; cost of $25 and will be included with registration fee if student does not already have an approved book. Minimum of 3 students to have a class with maximum of 10. Group discounts available.

Cancellation Policy

If need to cancel, please contact us at least 24 hours to avoid being charged. Invoice must be paid prior to class start date. 50% non- refundable deposit may be required at time of booking to hold your seat or your class will be cancelled, if other arrangements were not made with administration.
